The reason for a photo uploaded by ΑΠΕ – ΜΠΕ in the morning in a text on the march of the KKE members on the occasion of the anniversary of the Polytechnic.
The Agency used an older photo of the mobilization, probably of pupils and students, to show that the measures for the coronavirus and the distances are not being observed.
The caption with the photo that was posted at 10:46 reads: “The organization of the KKE Attica party at the US embassy is in progress.”
And the legend continues: “All measurements and distances are observed by the participants.”
However, the photo, which is obviously an archive, from an old mobilization, shows the children together, forming a chain and marching.
It is unknown if this is even a mobilization of KKE members, but that does not matter.
The state agency, at a time of great upheaval, with the bans on rallies that stigmatize the celebration of the Polytechnic, is taking this step.
This creates the impression that the KKE members who marched to the American embassy in the morning do not observe safe distances. However, the correct photos from the PAME meeting show that they absolutely kept their distance.
A little later, APE – BPE downloaded the photo that, for the record, was used by the Agency on 11/17/2019, that is, a year ago. However, in today’s post there was not even the indication “stock photo”.
