Athens Chamber of Commerce: Hairdressers will open this weekend HELLAS

Hair salons are expected to reopen next Saturday or Sunday, as part of the gradual lifting of existing measures due to the closure, according to the Athens Chamber of Commerce.

However, this is not confirmed by the Ministry of Development. In communication with iefimerida, competent circles of the Ministry of Development highlighted that a decision has not yet been made. Efforts are being made to open hair salons, however relevant suggestions from infectious disease specialists are awaited. The Athens Chamber of Commerce, however, states on its website that “As part of the gradual opening of the market, the hairdressers are expected to start operating in the next few days, Saturday or Sunday. This became known after a communication that the president of Ε.Ε.Α. Mr. Giannis Chatzitheodosiou with the Minister of Development Mr. Adonis Georgiadis. According to the information, the opening of these companies will precede since it is judged that the sanitary protocols can be applied with precision. It is expected that tomorrow, Friday 12/11, all the details on when and how other commercial activities will be opened will be clarified, in the relevant announcements that the government will make, as announced by the government spokesman, Mr. Stelios Petsas ”.

Georgiadis: hairdressers have priority
