The final value for the molecular test ceiling coronavirus, was announced in a new Official Gazette.
The final maximum value for the molecular test was determined. coronavirus and it will be 60 euros.
More specifically, the test values are as follows:
- Quick test: 10 euros and 10 euros medical services: final price 20 euros
- PCR (molecular test): 40 euros and up to 20 euros Medical services: Final price up to 60 euros
In fact, the decision on the final price was published in a new Government Gazette that was published.
The Official Gazette states that “to avoid exploitation and other illegal commercial practices, we hereby establish price caps as
sale of goods and provision of services, not including Value Added Tax (VAT), the following:
1) For SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus detection test by real-time molecular control method. – PCR, a) as a maximum charge for service (analysis of samples, etc.), the amount of forty euros (€ 40) and b) as a maximum charge for sampling in private diagnostic laboratories and private clinics, the amount of twenty euros ( € 20).
2) For the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus antigen detection test by the rapid test method, a) as a limit of charge for service (analysis, etc.) in private diagnostic laboratories, private clinics and every two points of sale the amount of ten euros (€ 10) and
b) as a maximum charge for taking samples, in private diagnostic laboratories and private clinics, the amount of ten euros (€ 10).
3) The maximum prices provided in the corresponding
1b) and 2b) as above, does not apply in the case that the sampling is carried out outside of private diagnostic laboratories and private clinics in which case its price is freely adjusted.
4) The companies that offer the above services and goods must publish in a price list visible to the public and on their websites, a price list with the maximum prices provided above.
5) In the event of non-compliance with the provisions of sections 1 and 2, an administrative fine of five thousand euros (€ 5,000) is imposed ”.
