Coronavirus – All news: The EODY team will go to Lamia on Sunday (09/13) to test 60 students who participated in a party and had direct or indirect contact with the 16 and 14 students who tested positive for the virus.
Both students were quarantinedboth the children who tested positive and the rest are in very good health and everything is at home. What the Health Authorities are looking for is the “zero patient”, who is asymptomatic and who is said to have transmitted the virus to the other two children, who initially showed some symptoms and therefore found a positive result in the tests performed on them. .
It is noted that the number of children who participated in the party is much lower, however the local Health Authorities from their monitoring created two lists, totaling 60 people, who directly or indirectly had contact with the children who tested positive.
Many of the anxious parents went to private laboratories for tests or to the hospital, but experts emphasized that it takes 7 days to do the test, so that you really know if someone is “carrying” the virus or not.
On Sunday, at the General Hospital of Lamia, in a special space that has been created in “Petrino”, The EODY team, in collaboration with the hospital’s Microbiology Laboratory, will take samples gradually during the day from the students who are on the two lists and if a positive case is found, their relatives will be traced.
