City police authorities are looking for people who … escaped from a quarantine hotel in Chania where they were staying.
Information on the exact number of people who escaped is not specified, while at the moment it has not been clarified which are positive and which are not.

The geographical distribution of the cases
Of the 416 new cases on Tuesday (09/29), 355 are domestic, 55 are associated with known influxes, while 10 are associated with a random sampling action by EODY in central Athens.

- 2 cases in PE Grevena
- 3 cases in PE De Evia
- 3 cases in PE Zakynthos, all connected with a known confluence
- 1 case in PE De Ilia
- 3 cases in PE Imathia
- 1 case in PE Heraklion
- 8 cases in PE Ioannina, of which 5 are associated with known confluences
- 4 cases in PE Karditsa
- 3 cases in PE Kastoria, of which 1 is connected by a known confluence
- 4 cases in PE Kozani
- 1 case in PE Corinto
- 7 cases in PE Larissa, of which 2 are connected by a known confluence
- 2 cases in PE Lesbos, connected with a known confluence
- 1 case in PE From messinia
- 4 cases in PE Pella
- 5 cases in Pieria prefecture, 2 of which are associated with a known confluence
- 1 case in PE Preveza
- 18 cases in PE Samos, 16 of which are associated with known confluences
- 7 cases in PE Trikala, of which 2 are connected by a known confluence
- 2 cases in PE Fthiotida
- In 3 cases, EODY has not yet provided clarification on the origin.
- 1 case in the Prefecture of Magnesia
- 2 cases in Halkidiki prefecture
- 12 cases are being investigated.
EODY concludes its announcement by stating: “Keep watch up close three case sources:
A) imported (more than 60 at present).
B) Accommodation structures for immigrant refugees.
C) Areas with the highest epidemiological burden throughout the territory ”.
