The purpose of the teleconference was to evaluate the epidemiological situation in the region, as well as the best possible coordination of all relevant organizations for the optimal management of the situation and to prevent further spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Participants emphasized the need for faithful observance of protective measures, while further intensification of controls is expected soon. In addition, EODY’s Mobile Health Teams (KOMY) carry out a series of rapid tests throughout the region, while in the coming days a rapid test is planned by means of a drive through selected points.

Likewise, the Vice Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management placed special emphasis on the need for greater awareness of residents and intensification of information to the population of these municipalities, noting that there is absolutely no margin for complacency.
