Those who watched the prayer live at the Holy Temple of Agios Andreas in Patras experienced moments of emotion and awe on Sunday afternoon (11/29).

The prayer was read by the Metropolitan of Patras Mr. Chrysostomos and he also prayed for the rest of the souls of all those who ended up hit by the coronavirus pandemic.

During Episcopal Vespers, which -as it was broadcast by tempo24.gr- took place behind closed doors, the Metropolitan of Patras Mr. Chrysostomos read a prayer for the salvation of the city and the homeland from the pandemic. A prayer was preceded for all those who are sick at this time in the hospitals of Patras and the country.

The Metropolitan of Patras also prayed for the rest of the souls of all those who were hit by the coronavirus.

It should be noted that during the prayer, the Metropolitan of Patras – as reported by tempo24.gr – was evidently excited, while the few clergymen and deacons who were inside the Church watched the prayer on their knees.
