Someone or some people seem to be “playing” with monoliths, since after the USA a metal construction about 4 meters high was found in Europe and specifically in the city of Piatra Neamţ in Romania, on November 26.
The monolith was located a few meters from a well-known archaeological site, in one of the most famous mountains in the country, the Ceahlău massif, according to the Daily Mail.
A spokesperson for the country’s Ministry of Culture said:
“We are examining the strange appearance of the monolith. It is privately owned, but we do not yet know who it belongs to. It is located in a protected area at an archaeological site.”
Both structures appear to have been deliberately placed, but their origin and purpose remain a mystery.

“The monolith gave thousands of people the opportunity to come together again behind something positive,” he told CNNi by email. “It was a nice escape from all the negativity we experienced in 2020.”
