Sidiropoulos and VAR turned a blind eye to Andre Simoes’ penalty in Ward!
AEK face Volos in Rizoupoli for match 13 of the Superliga, with the guests in the 6th minute calling for a penalty as Simoes scored on Warda.
The Egyptian fell to the ground after Simoes was marked and called for a penalty, but Sidiropoulos and VAR seemed to continue the game.
A decision that angered Warda, but also the people of Volos, who saw the referee and the VARista not signal a penalty in Simoes’ marking on the Egyptian midfielder.
It should be noted that the phase developed when the score was 1-0 in favor of AEK, with Volos then turning the game around and closing the first half in front of the scoreboard with 2-1.
