As he says, the purpose of the instructions is to update and sensitize the public about public transport and public transport personnel (MMM) about measures prevention spread of the virus and its safe operation.
What are the risks of the new coronavirus in MMM?
The risks are twofold, says EODY, explaining:
- The virus is transmitted mainly through the respiratory tract with drops produced by sneezing, coughing, or talking. It can also be transmitted through contact with surfaces contaminated with respiratory drops. The overcrowding of many passengers in MMM can contribute to the spread of the virus.
- MMM workers are at increased risk of contracting the new coronavirus.

We avoid it overcrowding in MMM and its waiting areas, through the use of many carriages on trains and with frequent itineraries, especially during peak hours (7-10 am and 2-5 pm).
During peak hours, we encourage the use of MMM only by employees to and from work.
We encourage remote maintenance in waiting areas and MMM and the use of seats alternately in wagons, buses, cars.
We encourage distance reduction by reducing the maximum number of passenger cars, buses, trolleybuses and ensuring a distance of at least one meter between passengers. If the distance is less than 2 meters, the use of a mask is required.
At buses we prefer the public to address means, medium door to protect the driver (unless in a cabin isolated from passengers) to ensure a safe distance between the passenger and the driver.
