The Ankara Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation against 103 naval returnees, on the occasion of a letter they wrote accusing Erdogan, among other things, of trying to Islamize the armed forces.

The retirees’ letter responds to the increasingly frequent recent statements by the Turkish president on the abolition of Treaty of Montreux.
