I am satisfied to be an oligarch. The economic conditions and possibilities, the climate with the coronavirus, create difficulties, so I am satisfied. Everything is done under pressure, there is no time. Our mission is to console the world, I try to create an atmosphere of joy and that the spectators share it. It’s extremely difficult, it takes effort to get everything right, especially in a muddy TV landscape.
What is meant by the word “pulp”?
Television has sad things. In fact, the times that we are going through, due to the coronavirus, also favor shows, keyhole programs. They work for the world.
Are you worried that all of these shows will have a big impact on the next generation? Younger viewers?
It does not mean that the new generation is always good. I think that as a country we have “youth”, politicians and artists do. It does not mean that what the young do is good, that the old do it badly. We have to tell the truth, make criticisms and the young people who deserve it will understand.
What are the samples you take from the world for your work this year?
Because of the mask, hardly anyone recognizes me (laughs). I only have contact with my neighborhood, which I am used to.
What flavor does the TV show “Present” leave you with?
I am satisfied, the competition is very big, there are series, reality shows, music competitions, especially on the days we play.
