The decision with the measures for the resumption of retail trade that will take effect from tomorrow, Monday, April 5, 2021, until Monday, April 12, 2021, was published in the Official Gazette.
Retail trade will be permanently closed in the three areas announced by the Government, namely Thessaloniki, Achaia and Kozani. It is also noted that in the three areas where retail will not open, prohibitive tapes will remain in supermarkets for specific products.
In this, however, it is reported that shopping centers and outlets are opening in areas that have a higher risk (ss Attica has a very high risk).
The Retail sale In areas with a very high level of risk, it will work as follows:
- By the remote pre-purchase / pre-selection procedure of merchandise by electronic or telephone means for collection / purchase outside the store (click away) by appointment and
- Through the remote appointment procedure by electronic or telephone means for reception / purchase in store (click inside).
In particular, there must be an order / appointment entry by the company and send the customer an electronic proof of purchase (prepaid order), or the appointment, or an SMS message containing the following information: name, address and VAT. company number, as well as the time of receipt. The receipt must be made by a single person and payment only electronically or by POS upon receipt.
What about clicking and clicking inside?
When picking up outside the store (click away), a minimum distance of two meters between customers must be respected, the maximum number of people waiting must not exceed 9 people and the maximum stay at the reception point must be a maximum of 10 minutes.
In the case of purchase and reception within the store (click inside), the company is obliged to publish in document or digitally the maximum number of consumers that can be within the store in proportion to the proportion of one person for every 25 m2. with a maximum number of 20 people.
Regarding the opening hours, there is an optional extended schedule from 7 in the morning to 8:30 in the afternoon from Monday to Saturday and the operation of the stores is prohibited on Sundays.
What applies to high-risk areas
It is observed that, for the areas of very high risk, the suspension of the operation of the retail stores that operate with cooperation agreements such as stores in a store is maintained. Shopping malls, discount stores and discount villages will also remain closed, with the exception of pharmacies and supermarkets, which operate on the condition that they have separate entrances for consumers.
However, in “higher risk” areas the operation of the aforementioned activities is allowed. It is recalled that after an extraordinary meeting of the National Committee for the Protection of Public Health and taking into account the particularly worrying epidemiological panorama presented by the Regional Units of Thessaloniki, Kozani and Acaya, it was decided to suspend the reopening of retail trade as of Monday . to April 5 Monday, April 12.
As a result of this suspension, the supermarkets in Thessaloniki, Acaya and Kozani will not sell all the products, as in the areas where retail opens on Monday. As for the stores within the country’s airports, it should be noted that their operation is allowed. For public markets (including market biologies) their space is expanded and if this is not possible, then 50% of the producers and traders are active with a distance of 5 meters between the counters and 1.5 meters between the counters. persons.
