Local showers or thunderstorms are expected in northern Greece and the northern and eastern Aegean islands. The phenomena in East Macedonia and Thrace can be intense. In the afternoon, parts of Epirus, Western Esterea, Peloponnese and possibly Eastern Esterea will be affected. The atmospheric conditions will favor the intense transport of dust from Africa.

The temperature will vary in Western Macedonia from 2 to 17 degrees, in the rest of northern Greece from 5 to 20 degrees, in Epirus from 5 to 23 degrees, in Thessaly from 5 to 24 degrees, in the rest of the continent from 7 to 24 degrees, in the Ionian islands from 11 to 21 degrees and in the Aegean islands from 11 to 22 degrees, while in the north of Crete the maximum will reach 27-29 degrees Celsius.

Winds in the Aegean will blow from the south with intensities of up to 8 beauforts and locally in the eastern seas 9 beauforts. In the Ionian, the south-east winds will initially blow with intensities of up to 7 Beaufort, but from noon and from the north they will turn northwest and show a slight weakening.

In Attica, temporary clouds and higher concentrations of dust are expected. From the end of the afternoon and especially at night it can rain in some places. Winds will blow from the southwest with intensities of 6-7 Beaufort. The temperature will oscillate between 11 and 22 degrees.

In Thessaloniki we expect clouds with local rains from time to time, while dust concentrations in the atmosphere will increase relatively. The winds will be weak and in the afternoon northwest with intensities of up to 5 Beaufort. The temperature in the city of Thessaloniki will oscillate between 9 and 19 degrees.
