Before the latest public opinion polls were made public, the messages had reached the Palacio de los Máximo. The two months of February-March were the most difficult for the government so far, with many errors in the political and communicative management of various crises, and this is reflected in the qualitative data from the surveys.
The finding that is also considered particularly worrisome by close associates of the Prime Minister is the large percentage of negative evaluations for the management of the pandemic at an earlier age.
According to a recent Metron Analysis survey, negative impressions of government work in the pandemic are highest in the under 50 age group, while in the dynamic 17 to 34 age group the gap is huge, with impressions negative reaching 66% and only positive 26%.
At the same time, the decrease in positive evaluations from the government as a whole is important, but also on the issue of the pandemic, which have decreased by 7-10 points compared to the previous November.
