Who is Foreman Dimitris Volakakis?

Commander (I) Dimitris Volakakis, comes from Chania. He is a Ground Safety Observer of the F-16 Individual Aircraft Demonstration Team “ZEUS”.

He was admitted to Icarus School in 2000. In 2006, he was placed in 116PM / 336 Squadron on the A-7E Corsair II aircraft, while in 2008 he was placed in 115PM / SMET on the F-16 Block52 + aircraft. Since 2009 he has been serving in the 343rd Squadron. It has more than 1700 flight hours, of which 1200 are in F-16 aircraft.
