Former US President Donald Trump, who has been banned from Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms since the Jan. 6 riots on Capitol Hill, plans to launch his own website in a few months, one of his advisers. Fox News.
Jason Miller, who represented Trump in the 2020 election campaign, told the network that the former president would return to social media sites with a new platform of his own that “will completely redefine the game.”
Miller did not elaborate. Executives at the Trump Organization, the former president’s company, had no comment.
Last week, Twitter announced that it would seek a public consultation on how and when it should exclude country leaders from its services. As you said, you are reviewing your policy and examining whether leaders should be bound by the same rules as ordinary users.
Facebook, which suspended Trump’s accounts indefinitely in January, has asked its independent oversight committee to decide whether the ban will continue.
