The new measures are valid as of today Saturday 3/20 in the context of the lockdown, as announced by Nikos Hardalias during the regular update on Friday. These include the extension of traffic hours, the opening of hair salons, the operation of temples on certain days and the lifting of the fishing ban.
Lock: all new measures
– Ban on traffic from 9 to 5 hours for the whole country and the whole week, starting tomorrow, Saturday 20.03.2021.
– Hair salons and limb care centers will reopen from Monday, March 22, but with strict rules.
– Reopening of archaeological sites in the open air for up to 3 people with mask and code 6 and without car or motorcycle.
– Opening of public parks, with visits of up to three people, except in the case of families that use code 6 again and movement on foot or by bicycle.
– Liturgy with 1 believer for every 25 m2 and limit of 20 believers for Orthodox Sunday, for March 25 and second greeting of the Virgin Mary.
Finally, recreational fishing is allowed for residents of coastal municipalities using code 6.
In addition, the government intends to give free tests to citizens immediately, from pharmacies. The goal is to have up to 10,000,000 coronavirus tests a week. In this context, citizens will be entitled to a free trial of their neighborhood pharmacy with their AMKA number.
