“On Wednesday at noon I went out to train my bike and unfortunately I was busy in the laboratory all morning and I did not see the weather well. So the rain caught me on the way back and I got wet. I pedaled as fast as I could to end the torment of the rain. On the outskirts of Larissa, outside the closed area of Naples, a car passed, dumping a lot of water from a pond with water on the road. He seemed curious and helpless to react in the car and I saw two boys in their 10s and their mother showing me laughing. It was obvious that Dad was driving and it seemed ridiculous for someone to drive in the rain. Because there was a queue at the stoplight, I grabbed the car, dodged it, and hit the window. The window opens and my mom says: go on, idiot.
I didn’t say anything, I continued and went home. I changed, took a bath and went to the workshop, stopping at the neighborhood cafe for coffee and a muffin. Inside was the mother with the two children and they were shopping. I recognized them. Of course, no. My mom knew I was Professor Kouretas and she greeted me. I did the same and I know it.
Speaking with the lady who attended me, I told her the story so that my mother would listen to it.
