In three days, Aris saw the tough face of football for the second time. The draw keeps the yellows above PAOK, it cannot be characterized as a bad result, but until the 87th minute the conditions were created to achieve a great and comfortable victory.

Seeing the way that PAOK tries to play, he decided to move up to his team, without losing the game of intensity near the opposing blocks and defensive midfielders.
So he made the decision to put Manos at the height and keep Varela, Incason low. His choice was to pass Bertoglio on the right, to keep Mancini’s energy, the direct football he can give, in the center of PAOK’s defense. The way the second goal came was the absolute justification for the decision of the Aris coach.
Mancini’s intense game brought Tsigara’s error, PAOK had no returns, Aris’s attacking quartet went on the counterattack with Gama having many options, it was not the best to shoot, but after Zivkovic’s rejection, the rebound was again for a player from Aris, this time in the foreground put by Mantzios and Manos, in an empty goal he made it 0-2.

Without getting Garcia’s team to be creative, he managed to bring the game to the area of Mars, constantly playing with big balls. He filled the area and turned the fight into an aerial battle, to which Aris could not respond, although in the end his coach took care to strengthen his team for the last defenses, passing a third block to Belanuan, to win the battle. It was certainly too much that PAOK scored two goals in 8 minutes of pressure, with unorthodox football with big balls, and the luck to be saved without deserving it, from a defeat that would generate whining and trembling.
THE TWO SAVIORS OF PAOK
