I think the reasons are obvious. Probably because it is extremely embarrassing for him to tell my truth with all this information. But instead, he doesn’t have the courage to apologize even now.

Have you filed a lawsuit against your ex-husband?

In fact, the lawsuit has been filed.

How long did these events that you describe in your complaints last?

The abuses I have suffered in this relationship have lasted for many years and have only intensified. From milder forms of verbal or psychological violence and more intense with “simple” physical violence to quite serious.

What was the straw that broke the glass and made you leave your wedding?

The straw that broke the camel’s back was the realization that every promise of change and every regret were mere pretexts to avoid any consequences.

Do you think the Metoo movement motivated you to speak publicly on this topic?

I made the first move to talk about my own story shortly before this whole wave broke, but I had to start legal proceedings first. Clearly, the moment it happens, this conjuncture also exists. It is as if there is a universal coordination in the fight against all forms of violence.
