Clarifications on pre-booking an appointment for the coronavirus vaccine through intangible prescription The Ministry of Digital Governance advances before the “opening” of vaccination reserves in additional age categories (citizens aged 60 to 64 years).
“Those citizens who registered shortly before (or after) the opening of appointments for their age group will not receive SMS and will have to book their vaccination appointments in the other channels that have been enabled, that is, the emvolio.gov site. gr, pharmacies and KEP “is typically noted.
As highlighted in the relevant announcement and broadcast by the Athens News Agency. Pre-booking an appointment is a proposal that the state makes to citizens with specific dates, times and places for the two doses of vaccination.. It applies only to those citizens who are registered in the intangible recipe (ehealth.gov.gr) because only for them there are verified contact details (mobile phone number and email).
A few days before the opening of the appointments for an age group, the affiliates who are registered in the intangible prescription are registered, so that on the day of the opening of the appointments the reservations that will be proposed have been completed.. This is because the vaccination center closest to the declared residential address must be located and appointments must be available on dates and times.
Then they will receive SMS only those who have subscribed to the intangible prescription approximately one week before the appointments of the age group to which they belong are opened. More details and information can be found at emvolio.gov.gr.
Let us remember that the prescription of intangibles is one of the first new services introduced by the Ministry of Digital Government in gov.gr, since it became operational on March 28, 2020. In less than 11 months it exceeded 1,500,000 registered citizens, constituting a useful tool in the hands of doctors and patients, especially chronically ill patients, who can take repeated prescriptions more easily, always in consultation with their doctor. In the summer, the service also included intangible referrals, digitizing another important part of doctor’s office visits.
