The news from the Children’s ICU of the General University Hospital of Patras is pleasant.
After several days of hospitalization, the 9-year-old boy who is being treated for coronavirus came off the non-invasive ventilator and now has the support of simple oxygen mask.
The signs of improvement in his health are such that they are optimistic that in the next few hours he may be discharged from the ICU for the simple COVID clinic.
In fact, the 9-year-old boy spoke with the doctors where he asked them if the severe pneumonia he suffers it is a coronavirus effect.
The health signs of the other two children in treatment, the 10-year-old and the 2-month-old baby, are positive.
Both children show improvement in their health, reports tempo24.news.
