The position of the civilian training aircraft was lost in the early afternoon, and firefighters were notified of its crash, in the mountainous area of the wider Miliotades NE of Ioannina Airport.

According to local media, the investigations are expected to start from the same point where they stopped, in front of Karyes in Panagia and will be concentrated near Mount Mitsikeli, in the wider area between the villages of Miliotades, Kavallari and Anthrakitis.
