A severed head was found inside a box in the French city of Toulon, raising an alarm bell for the country’s police authorities.

Strong police forces immediately rushed to the center of the French city, after receiving information that a severed head was found inside a box.
According to Nice Martin, the streets of the city have been closed with police and soldiers deployed in the area.
The Central Directorate of Public Security (DDSP), based on preliminary data, speaks of the beheading of a person, whose head was placed in a cardboard box and thrown out a window.
Strong police forces rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area. Beside, a person was arrested whose identity, however, remains unknown.
In the video that follows, in the apartment window, the 40 year old man allegedly threw the box.
According to information from the French media, the Metropolitan Police of the area intervened in the middle of the night from Sunday to Monday in a fight, at the address where the apartment is located from which the box was thrown into the street. This apartment belongs to a man who is housing two homeless people and it is examined whether the severed head belongs to one of the homeless people.
