New Democracy is ahead of SYRIZA with 16.4 points in a Metron Analysis poll for Mega.
The percentage is even higher compared to the company’s previous measurement, last December.
Specifically, in the voting intention, ND gathers 36.1%, SYRIZA 19.7%, KINAL 6.4%, KKE 5.7%, Hellenic Solution 3.6% and MERA25 2.4%.
In December 2020, the “gap” between the first two parts was measured at 15.6%.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis leads the popularity of political leaders by a wide margin, garnering 60% of positive opinions. An interesting fact is that in second place is not the president of SYRIZA but Fofi Gennimata with 39% positive opinions and in third place is Alexis Tsipras with 36% positive and 62% negative opinions.
The picture is similar in assessing the way in which the prime minister and the leader of the official opposition carry out their functions, with Kyriakos Mitsotakis maintaining 56% of the positive crises and Alexis Tsipras only 20%.
Citizens’ pessimism about the direction of the country, based on data over time, has started to reverse and the majority of citizens now (48%) believe that it is heading in the right direction.
Citizens consider the pandemic and then the economy to be the most important problem. As for the exit time from the health crisis, the vast majority (55%) estimate that it will be remote, after 2021.
Almost two out of three say “yes” to the vaccine, but even more important is the fact that its percentage increases over time.
Almost two out of three citizens are in favor of policing university campuses, with rates that increase significantly in older ages and in those who identify with the center-right, center-right, or right-wing political space.
