A macabre discovery came to light this afternoon, in the riverbed that runs through the Ano Gouves area, where it was revealed that a human skull and skeleton were “hidden”, findings found by a neighbor in the area.
Mr. Michalis Markakis, who was the man who faced this gruesome spectacle, immediately realized that it was human remains and notified the Hersonissos police station.
Police officers immediately showed up at the scene and are currently trying to collect both the visible bones and those that appear to be buried in the ground, next to the skull.
