According to information, on December 21 the competent prosecutor by order “referred” the case to the archive, considering that the witness presented by the “late” party Pantelidis.
Three days later, the family Pantelidis supposedly through his lawyer to appeal against the order that took the case to second instance. However, on January 14, the Appellate Prosecutor’s Office also dismissed the appeal against the order of the Prosecutor of the First Instance Court, closing the case.

“Regarding the case of our directors, Mr. EFROSYNIS KYRIAKOU and MYRSINIS ARNAOUTI, which we have been managing for the last 5 years, we are obliged to issue this press release to be informed about its development.
- For this case, we remind you that 2 orders from the prosecution had been issued that had rejected all the information of our plaintiffs, and had concluded that the driver of the car was the late Pantelis Pantelidis.
- At the request of our plaintiffs, almost 5 years after the incident, the case was withdrawn from the archive and, together with the other evidence, the testimony of a late witness, who claimed that Frosso Kyriakou was the driver of the fatal jeep.
- After our extensive and detailed explanations to the Prosecutor of the Athens Court of First Instance, the previous witness was classified as late and that his testimony was not in line with the rest of the evidence and the complaint of our plaintiffs was again rejected, accepting that the Fiscal The driver was Thanon Pantelis Pantelidis.
- Following an appeal by our applicants to the Athens Appeals Prosecutor’s Office, which stated that this provision of the Athens First Instance Prosecutor was incorrect, finally the Athens Appeals Prosecutor issued a new order, which dismissed our plaintiffs’ appeal and concluded that the driver was Thanon Pantelis Pantelidis.
- That is, in these 5 years, 3 different prosecutors have dealt with this case, who have issued 4 prosecution provisions, with which they concluded based on scientific conclusions and testimonies that the driver was the deceased Pantelis Pantelidis, there was no evidence even for the referral of our clients to the hearing.
- Today they are pending justice damage claims both the car accident and the lawsuits that we have filed against the witnesses who testified belatedly in this case, and that will be carried out until their final criminal conviction, as long as it is clear that they will be filed and damage claims against those who have defamed us to this day, brutally insulting the honor and reputation of our directors.
