The ECDC Map for Coronavirus in Europe: Greece’s Only Green Zone

[ad_1]

Epirus, the Ionian Islands, the Cyclades and the Dodecanese are the only “green” coronavirus areas in the EU, according to a revised map released today by the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).

With the exception of Greece, Finland and Iceland, which are colored “orange”, the rest of Europe is colored “red”, that is, more than 150 cases are registered per 100,000 inhabitants.

Please note that the ECDC does not collect data for Great Britain, Switzerland, the Balkan countries (other than those that are members of the EU), Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.

ECDC maps are updated every Thursday, in line with the European Council Recommendation to implement a coordinated approach among EU countries to restrict free movement to cope with the pandemic.
