Store opening: The last touches to the retail opening plan on Monday, January 18, are marked by the Ministry of Development, with continuous meetings.
As the Secretary General of Commerce and Consumer Protection, Panagiotis Stampoulidis, told Newsbomb.gr, in the last hours the measures are being formulated according to which the stores will reopen, with the specific context in the knowledge of the expert committee, which will meet tomorrow Friday (01/15).
However, the positive epidemiological data in recent days raise the expectation that infectious disease specialists will give the “green light” to open the market. However, the professor of Microbiology and member of the Expert Committee, Alkiviadis Vatopoulos he did not open his articles to the suggestion of scientists to the government on the next steps in managing the pandemic.
Speaking on ANT1’s morning show “Good morning Greece”, he did not reveal his personal suggestion, explaining that he does not want to advance the Commission’s “verdict” tomorrow for the opening of activities. Store openings: what is suggested
The government’s plan calls for clothing, shoe and silver stores to operate using the click-in-store method.

Regarding the number of people who may be in the store, the following are studied:
- In stores up to 20 square meters, a total of 4 people is allowed, that is, employees and customers.
- In tents of 20 to 100 square meters, 4 people are allowed, plus 1 person per 10 square meters for the area of 20 to 100 square meters.
- In tents of more than 100 square meters, 12 people are allowed, plus 1 person for every 15 square meters for the area of more than 100 meters.
With the click in shop model the consumer will be able to pay at the cash register, while with the click away, if they have not made the payment electronically, they will have to pay exclusively outside the store via wireless POS.
