The management of the social network Twitter announced yesterday Friday that it has permanently suspended the operation of the account of the outgoing Republican President Donald Trump, due to the “risk” of “more incitement to violence”, after the invasion of his followers in Capito.
“Following a thorough review of recent posts about the realDonaldTrump account and its context, we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement to violence,” the company said in a statement.
Facebook and other social media sites have already suspended the president’s accounts on their platforms indefinitely.
