Donald Trump spoke of a smooth transition of power on January 20, despite his disagreement, shortly after the ratification of the result of the US elections by Congress, following the invasion of the Capitol by supporters of the outgoing president.
According to his spokesman, Dan Scavino, Donald Trump stated that “although I completely disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts confirm it, there will be a smooth transition of power on January 20.”
This is “the end of one of the best first presidential terms and it is only the beginning of our fight to restore America to its greatness,” he added.

Earlier, Joe Biden’s victory in the presidential election was officially confirmed by the United States Congress.
US Vice President Mike Pence announced that Biden received 306 electoral votes, while Trump received 232.
It was also preceded by the rejection of Republican objections to the validity of the election results in Pennsylvania.
Four Dead – 52 episodes
The Congressional hearing on that was exactly where the Trump administration came from.
Four people were killed during the incidents: one woman from gunfire and three in “medical emergencies,” according to local authorities. Police made 52 arrests.
Emergency for 15 days
Washington Mayor Muriel Bauser previously announced that she was extending the state of emergency for 15 days after the incidents.
The emergency measures in Washington will last until January 20, the day of Joe Biden’s swearing-in ceremony.
