In favor of openness primary schools and kindergartens On January 11, the Infectious Diseases Committee met today to present its proposal to the Minister of Education.
According to the same information, the Commission has reservations on the issue of Gyms and lyceums, for whose inauguration the experts will meet again next week, in order to examine the latest epidemiological data.
Given that the government’s goal is to open schools as soon as possible, following the recommendation of the Commission, it can be considered safe that primary schools and kindergartens will open on January 11.
Gymnasiums and high schools are not expected to open before January 25.
The information indicates that the relevant announcements by the Minister of Education Niki Kerameos will be made in the next few hours.
The plan for the inauguration
The plan for opening schools, according to information from ERT, includes the following measures:
- Quick test to high school students and all teachers
- creation platform, which will enroll students and teachers who wish to take the test
