Mitsotaki’s Reasoning for the New Government: New Faces, Left Out

[ad_1]

The reasoning for the changes in government decided by Kyriakos Mitsotakis was explained by government sources.

As they explained, the reorganization did not occur due to some failure in the government’s work, which is considered successful and that is why most of the heads of the main ministries that have handled successive crises (Evros, Health, Economy) from February (Staikouras – YPOIK, Chrysochoidis – YPROPO, Dendias – YPEX, Panagiotopoulos – YPETHA, Pierrakakis – Ministry of Digital Government, Mitarakis – Ministry of Migration Policy) remain the same.

Government sources clarify that another vice minister has entered each ministry not to increase government, but to better manage the multifaceted problems and challenges that arise as successive crises have taught.

This is, they explained, a balance between technocrats and party officials, many from the Parliamentary Group, while the government also includes deputies who were elected for the first time, such as Christos Tarantilis (government spokesman) and Angelos Syrigos (Deputy Minister of Education ).

There is also a strengthening of the government in Maximou with Theodoros Libanios, while the update of Kostas Skrekas to the Ministry of Environment and Energy is also important.

It should be noted that Takis Theodorikakos, who was succeeded by Makis Voridis in the Interior Ministry, and Giannis Vroutsis, who was succeeded by Kostis Hatzidakis in the Labor Party, remain out of government, and Mr. Vroutsis will take over as ND’s parliamentary representative.
