The passenger ferry “AQUA BLUE” presented mechanical damage to one of its two main engines, during the execution of the planned route from Kavala.
The ship, with 17 passengers and 45 crew members, sets sail for the port of Myrina using the correct main engine and has not requested assistance. The weather in the sea area is good, while the south winds are 4 Beaufort.
The ship had left Kavala for Myrina Lemnos-Ag. Efstratios and with final destination to Lavrio. The “AQUA BLUE”, which arrives in Myrina around 11:30 pm instead of the scheduled 8:00 pm, is expected to be inspected by the tracking classification society to see if it can continue on its planned route.
