The total number of cases is 140,099, of which 52.3% are men. During the follow-up, it was found that 5463 (3.9%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 41 926 (29.9%) are related to an already known case.
There are 421 people who are treated by intubation. Their average age is 67 years. 282 (67.0%) of those intubated are men. 79.8% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older.
Reaching 897 patients have been discharged from the ICU since the start of the pandemic.
Finally, we have 36 new deaths from COVID-19 disease, reaching 4,957 deaths in total in the country, of which 2,938 (59.3%) are men. The mean age of our deceased fellow citizens was 79 years and 95.5% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
In the previous 24 hours, 4,366 molecular tests and 5,780 rapid tests were performed. The positivity rate is estimated at 3.84%.
