From 2010 to 2020 our country has not managed to raise its head. Obviously, wishes are not enough to change the recession, however original and special.
Action is needed and above all political will, something that did not exist in previous years. Unfortunately, the political leaderships of our country for more than ten years have chosen to move in the logic of racism and servitude, for a piece of bread that in the end was dry and bitter at the same time.
With thousands of problems we reached 2020 and the great coronavirus tsunami and the additional economic recession came to financially end Greece. The inhabitants of this country have become lifeless numbers.
If you reject them, in a decade four generations have been lost, to be precise they have been destroyed … They have not been able to stand up for themselves, to see what creation, prosperity, progress means. Four whole generations. From the famous Generation X which includes the children of the post-colonial period, but also Generation Y, the Millennials who were born between 1981 and 1995. These generations were violently interrupted at their most creative age. This was immediately followed by the over-indebted Generation Z, those born between 1996 – 2010 and the so-called Gen Alpha, those born between 2011 – 2025 whose future is predestined and sinister.
In 2021 we have no other option. We must get up. We close 200 years since the Revolution of 1821. May the New Year be the link that will unite the victories of our ancestors with the successes of our descendants. The new “moving cause” that Aristotle used to say. A new social revolution in the broadest sense of the word. The energy of the “revolution”, that is, of the widespread uprising for mainly national reasons, but also for the realization of radical changes: political, economic, social, cultural …
