A “battle” for her life is fought by an 18-year-old girl who suffered an electric shock while jumping over the cables of an aerial train in Larissa.

The 18-year-old was transferred from the Larissa University Hospital to the KAT in Athens where there is a Burn Center, to receive specialized care since she has second and third degree burns.

According to ERT, The 18-year-old tried to jump from the roof of one car to another.. In the jump he attempted, he was hit by the current as he came very close to overhead power lines with a current of 25,000 volts.

The young woman remains intubated after the operation last night by a team of surgeons and orthopedists.
