According to certain information, the police have at their disposal the DNA of the missing girl from the first moment, since they had collected it from a toothbrush and a comb from the house of the 19-year-old girl.
The first thing that the authorities will check in the next 24 hours is if this DNA is identified with the DNA of the murdered woman, found in the suitcase in Vilia.
The lawyer for the 19-year-old’s family, Anastasios Dougas, says on Newsbomb.gr, that there are some points in common in the two cases, however it is too early to draw conclusions.
“We are waiting to see if there is DNA identification or not, as well as the results of the necropsy – autopsy.” We hope that the body does not belong to the missing girl, ”says Mr. Doukas.
According to other information, a first estimate places the death of the woman two or three months ago, since the body was in an advanced state of decomposition.
The cases of 20 women, whose disappearance was announced during this period, are now in the foreground, awaiting the identification of the body by the forensic doctor.
The autopsy will take place tomorrow. Initially, the objective is to clarify the age of the victim, in order to limit the list of police investigations but also to clarify the causes of death, since according to the information, there are no obvious external injuries.
