The expert committee for the coronavirus pandemic faces with particular concern 11 regions of Greece, which remain in “red numbers”.
According to Deputy Minister of Civil Protection Nikos Hardalias, in addition to West Attica and Kozani, areas that remain in strict lockdown, several regions, municipalities and areas appear to show worrying signs of “resistance” to the coronavirus.

Mr. Hardalias called on the residents of these areas to be extremely careful and to remain consistent in complying with the measures.

- Municipality of Eordea
- Municipality of Voio
Earlier, it was announced that the strict lockdown would be extended to five areas until January 6. Specifically, in Aspropyrgos, Elefsina, Kozani, Eordea and in the Municipality of Voio, the validity of the additional restrictive measures is extended.
