The news of the sudden death of its star has caused a stir in Bosnia and Herzegovina Athletics, Osman Yunuzovts.
The 27-year-old athlete, according to APE-MPE, died on Monday and a day later the news spread in the country and abroad, in mourning for the Bosnians.
Junuzovic won several titles during his career, while winning the bronze medal at the 2015 European Championships in Baku and was the Balkan champion and Bosnian champion in the 3,000m, 3,000m hurdles, 5,000m, half marathon and marathon.
At the end of 2017 he had temporarily suspended his career due to sciatic nerve problems but then he returned to action and even successfully, until now the news of his death has arrived.
What death, according to the Bosnian press, is due to sudden heart failure.
