The alarm has been signaled to Kalymnos due to the outbreak of coronavirus cases.
In three days, 28 cases of coronavirus were registered, because commitment that took place on the island, said the mayor, Dimitris Diakomichalis.
“The indicators are not at all encouraging,” he said, among other things, noting that the four nuclei (four families) have been identified and placed under house arrest.
Mr. Diakomichalis stated to Sky Rodos that “the Two nuclei come from commitment families who intervened in the protocols and surprised everyone !!! It is not easy to handle this situation, because p. Eg in an area from the port to the town, construction is very dense and things are difficult ”.
Finally, he stated that daily meetings are held to address the situation, while he is in an open line of communication with the General Secretariat of Civil Protection in Athens to follow instructions.
