Coronavirus: 471 vaccinated people – An allergic reaction

Yesterday vaccinations against the coronavirus began in our country.

A total of 471 people have been vaccinated in Athens hospitals, of which, as announced by the Secretary General for Primary Health Care, Marios Themistokleous, one had an allergic reaction, which, however, was treated immediately.

He also recalled that vaccination will begin in four large hospitals in the province.

Dosage schedule:

  • At the end of January we will receive 419,250 installments
  • In February we will receive 334,500 installments
  • At the end of March we will have received 1,255,800 million installments and 2.2 million in April.

The general vaccination of health workers will begin on January 4. The first tranche of vaccination of health centers, nursing homes, chronic care units and rehabilitation centers is expected to be completed on the 20th of the same month.

Based on the calculations, it is estimated that the vaccination of the population will begin on January 20, according to the prioritization of the National Vaccination Committee.

The platform for citizens to make an appointment will open at least one week in advance.

  • from the neighborhood pharmacy or KEP

“It is very important to write in the intangible prescription or register our relatives,” stressed the secretary general.

The Secretary General closed with a personal message stating that he was vaccinated today. “I feel very good and I feel that I have taken a small step to hug my parents that I have been seeing since September.” It is our responsibility and the responsibility of those involved to respect individual protection measures until we are all vaccinated, in order to limit the spread of the coronavirus, “he said.
