The first person to be vaccinated in Greece against the coronavirus was a nurse who worked at Evangelismos. It is about the nurse Efstathia Kampisiouli, who together with Michalis Giovanidis, guest of the Elderly Unit of the Evangelismos Hospital, were the first to be vaccinated.
Despite the flashes and the photographers, few noticed what Efstathia Kampisiouli wore on her lapel, like a pin. Few, but first of all, were the famous anti-vaccine sprays, which saw behind the jewels several hidden meanings. Various conspiracies and nonsense.
Among them is the well-known Rachel Makri, who thought he saw the Jewish hamsa palm …
As he wrote on facebook:
I was informed that this is the boss who first gave Evangelismos the vaccine.
They ask him what he’s wearing on his lapel. As far as I know, the Jewish hamsa palm.
The truth, of course, is simpler, less conspiratorial, and more interesting. Mrs. Efstathia Kampisiouli wears on her lapel a jewel called “The Hand Metal Project” and designed by artists Iris Eichenberg and Jimena Ríos to honor doctors and nurses fighting the pandemic. So far, more than 70,000 pieces of this jewelry have been sold.
