More than one in three new coronavirus infections is found in Attica, where 101 of the 342 new cases were diagnosed. In more detail: in the case of Eastern Attica 12 cases, in the case of the North Sector of Athens 15 cases, in the case of the Central Sector of Athens 21 cases, in the case of the South Sector of Athens 11 cases, in the case of the Sector West Athens 25 cases, in the case of West Attica PE Piraeus 12 cases.
The number of new infections in Thessaloniki is in the double digits with 70 new cases.
The total number of new cases remains low today, as the number of diagnostic tests performed during these holidays is correspondingly low.
342 new infections were announced, 53 deaths from our fellow citizens, while it appears that the number of patients intubated with Covid is slowly decreasing to 469.
A total of 6,143 diagnostic tests were performed, the molecular 3,467 and the rapid 2,676.
