A strong earthquake occurred on Sunday morning, off Rhodes, shortly after the Egelados attack in eastern Turkey.
According to the first estimate of the Geodynamic Institute of Athens, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale and occurred at 09:13 in front of Rhodes.
The epicenter was reported 53 km east of the island, with a depth of 8.4 km.
