According to the latest forecast data from the National Observatory of Athens / meteo.gr, during the night of Saturday 26/12 to Sunday 27/12 there will be heavy rains on the western continents and in the Ionian, where sporadic storms will occur.
Starting at noon, bad weather will affect almost the entire country with heavy rains in some places, sporadic storms at sea and coastal areas and snowfall on the mountainous continents.
The phenomena of the afternoon of Sunday 27/12 will be limited mainly in the west, in Thrace and in the eastern and southern Aegean. The following video shows the rain that is expected until noon on Monday 12/28.

- Avoid crossing streams and streams, on foot or by vehicle, during storms and rain, but also for several hours after the end of your event.
- Avoid field work and activities in the sea and coastal areas during severe weather (risk of lightning strikes).
- Take immediate precautions during a hail storm. Take cover in a building or car and do not leave the safe area until you are sure the storm is over. Hail can also be very dangerous for animals.
- Avoid going under large trees, under hanging signs, and generally in areas where light objects (eg flowerpots, broken glass, etc.) can break off and fall to the ground (eg under balconies). .
