Wild episodes, with a bloody showdown of prisoners, unfolded in Domokou Prison.
A group of Afghans and Pakistanis have reportedly broken into the cells where the Roma are being held. The foreigners with improvised knives managed to wound 8 gypsies, before prison officials with the help of external guards managed to separate them.
According to the same information, the wounded were taken for first aid to Domokou Health Center and was initially transferred to Lamia Hospital, a 32-year-old wounded, with a bruise on his head and stab wounds on his arms and legs, where he is being treated under surveillance, without putting his life at risk.
AT Domokou and the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Service were informed about the incident, while there will be disciplinary sanctions against those involved.
