The barometric low centered in southern Italy will affect the country’s climate from the night of Saturday 12/26 to Sunday 12/27 until noon on Monday 12/28. The main characteristics of bad weather will be heavy rains in some places, sporadic storms in the sea and coastal areas, snowfall in the mountains of the continent and stormy winds from the south in the seas.
According to the latest forecast data from the National Observatory of Athens / meteo.gr, during the night of Saturday 26/12 to Sunday 27/12 there will be heavy rains on the western continents and in the Ionian, where sporadic storms will occur.
Starting at noon, bad weather will affect almost the entire country with heavy rains in some places, sporadic storms at sea and coastal areas and snowfall on the mountainous continents. The phenomena of the afternoon of Sunday 27/12 will be limited mainly in the west, in Thrace and in the eastern and southern Aegean.

Macedonia, Thrace

Ionian Islands, Epirus, Western Sterea, Western Peloponnese
Cloudy skies with local rain and isolated storms. Starting at night, the effects will gradually intensify in northern Ionian, Epirus and western Esterea, probably in strong locations.
Winds: South southwest 4 to 6 and at night in the Ionian locally 7 beauforts.
Temperature: 11 to 18 degrees Celsius. Within Epirus 4 to 5 degrees lower.
Thessaly, Eastern Esterea, Evia, Eastern Peloponnese
Temporarily denser scattered clouds. In the afternoon, local rains mainly in the eastern Peloponnese.
Visibility in the morning will be limited in some places.
Winds: Southwest 3 to 5, in the east local until 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: 10 to 18 degrees Celsius. In the north 2 to 3 degrees lower.
Cyclades, Crete
Overcast skies temporarily increased with light local rains.
Winds: South southwest 4 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: 13 to 18 degrees Celsius.
East Aegean Islands, Dodecanese
Overcast skies temporarily increased with local rains.
Winds: South southwest 5 to 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: 14 to 19 degrees Celsius.
Samos
Weather: Cloudy with occasional rain.
Winds: South southwest 5 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: 14 to 18 degrees Celsius.
