The National Public Health Organization (EODY) announced on the afternoon of Wednesday 23/12, that the new laboratory confirmed cases of coronavirus are 937, of which 5 were identified after controls at the gates of the country.
The total number of cases is 133365 , of which 52.4% are men. Of these, 5,267 (3.9%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 39,198 (29.4%) are related to an already known case.
Besides 495 fellow citizens they treat us intubated. Their average age is 67 years. 160 (32.3%) are women and the rest are men. 78.6% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older.
We have 62 deaths more registered and 4402 deaths in total in the country. 1,776 (40.3%) women and the rest men. The mean age of our deceased fellow citizens was 79 years and 95.5% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
Finally, 832 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
